AMER Business Marketing Analytics & Recertified Storage Analytics Intern - Summer 2026

Location: Remote employment within the United States states listed in the posting; campus locations include Longmont, Colorado, and Normandale in Edina and Bloomington, Minnesota.

Base wage: $22.00–$33.50 per hour.

What you will do

• Analyze AI workloads across data collection, preparation, model training, inferencing, deployment, and long-term retention.
• Research AI models and platforms, including Claude, DeepSeek, Mistral, and other emerging technologies, to assess infrastructure and storage implications.
• Evaluate demand across Flash, HDD, object, file, block, and hybrid storage architectures.
• Assess the recertified storage market, including archival data centers, customer pain points, geographic opportunities, and lifecycle management needs.
• Develop go-to-market hypotheses, partner segmentation, opportunity sizing, market maps, and executive recommendations.
• Map ecosystem participants such as systems integrators, IT asset disposition providers, resellers, channel partners, system builders, managed service providers, and archival data center operators.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an MBA, master’s, or undergraduate degree in business, strategy, marketing, finance, economics, data analytics, information systems, engineering, or a related field, with plans to return to school in Fall 2027.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including market data analysis, customer segmentation, competitive research, and forecasting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to create executive-level presentations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Interest in AI infrastructure, data centers, enterprise technology, cloud computing, storage systems, or technology market strategy.
• Remote employment is available only in the specified United States states.

Nice to have

• Experience or coursework in business analytics, market sizing, competitive strategy, technology strategy, supply chain, or product marketing.
• Familiarity with GPUs, model training, inferencing, data pipelines, data lakes, and enterprise AI deployment.
• Understanding of HDD, SSD, Flash, NAS, archival, hybrid, object, file, and block storage.
• Experience with Excel modeling, market maps, segmentation frameworks, executive dashboards, secondary research, competitive benchmarking, customer interviews, or partner ecosystem analysis.
• Interest in sustainability, circular economy models, refurbished or recertified technology markets, and product lifecycle monetization.
