TL;DR

Substance Abuse Counselor (Behavioral Health): Providing patient-centered counseling, developing treatment plans, and supporting patients throughout recovery from addiction with an accent on individualized care and clinical documentation. Focus on conducting counseling sessions, building meaningful patient connections, and managing treatment records during scheduled onsite shifts.

Location: Johnston, Rhode Island, USA; onsite. The location is relocating by October.

Salary: $24–$29 per hour plus bonus structure

Behavioral Health Group operates a network of Joint Commission-accredited treatment centers providing opioid addiction treatment services across 24 states.

What you will do

Conduct counseling sessions for patients throughout their recovery journey.
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
Build meaningful, patient-centered connections.
Provide care and support for patients recovering from addiction.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human services or a related field.
CADC, LCDP, LADC, or LCADC certification or license required.
Availability for Monday–Friday shifts from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM and a rotating Saturday shift.
Ability to work onsite in Johnston, Rhode Island.
