TL;DR
Counselor (Addiction Treatment) (Behavioral Health): Providing counseling sessions, developing treatment plans, and supporting patients throughout opioid addiction recovery with an accent on patient-centered care and meaningful therapeutic connections. Focus on delivering recovery support, managing clinical documentation, and coordinating care during an early-morning weekday schedule with rotating Saturday shifts.

Location: Staunton, Virginia, USA; hybrid role with on-site work at 15 Green Hills Drive, Suite 6 & 7.

Salary: $25–$27 per hour, plus a bonus structure; pay varies by experience and credentials.

What you will do

  • Conduct counseling sessions for patients throughout their recovery journey.
  • Develop and support individualized treatment plans.
  • Build meaningful therapeutic connections with patients.
  • Provide patient-centered care focused on addiction recovery.
  • Manage clinical documentation related to patient care.

Requirements

  • Required credential: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LSATP, CSAC-S, CSAC, Resident in Counseling, or Supervisee in Social Work.
  • Work location: availability to work in Staunton, Virginia, with on-site responsibilities.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered addiction recovery care.
  • Availability Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM and for a rotating Saturday shift.
