Treasury Consultant

Location: Hybrid role based in Boston or Springfield, Massachusetts

Salary: $115,900–$152,100 annually

What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert for the Treasury Management System, preferably Kyriba, including configuration, reporting, data quality, controls, and user adoption.
• Develop cash-flow, bank-balance, bank-fee, payment, service-performance, forecast, variance, scenario, and sensitivity analyses.
• Create dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and management reporting that translate treasury data into business recommendations.
• Design and manage payment solutions, banking structures, system interfaces, bank-account integrations, reconciliations, and end-to-end cash-flow processes.
• Manage banking relationships, documentation, service agreements, due diligence, compliance requests, risk oversight, and audit readiness.
• Lead or support automation, governance, control enhancement, testing, implementation, change management, and responsible use of approved AI tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in cash management, treasury, finance, banking, or financial operations involving sensitive financial data.
• 4+ years of experience analyzing complex financial datasets and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel, including data validation, complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, charts, and high-volume datasets.
• 3+ years of experience with a Treasury Management System, preferably Kyriba, including reporting, data management, or workflow support.
• Strong analytical, communication, risk-management, problem-solving, collaboration, and project-management skills.

Nice to have

• Banking relationship, bank-account operations, payment-method, treasury-technology, or SAP S/4HANA integration experience.
• MBA, master’s degree, Certified Treasury Professional designation, or 8+ years of progressive treasury experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, automation, analytics, or AI-enabled treasury and payment use cases.
• Knowledge of responsible AI practices, including data protection, validation, explainability, monitoring, and escalation.
