Director, Solutions Engineering (Cloud Data Infrastructure)

Location: North Sydney or Melbourne, Australia. Hybrid working with in-office and/or in-person expectations.

What you will do

• Lead and develop ANZ Solutions Engineering leaders and teams to deliver customer outcomes, high-quality solution architectures, and business results.
• Drive opportunity stewardship and operational discipline through SPARK, demonstrating technical wins, pipeline influence, competitive success, and market expansion.
• Partner with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Professional Services, Customer Success, and partner organisations to improve solution adoption.
• Act as the executive escalation point for complex pre-sales challenges and support strategic pursuits across Enterprise, Public Sector, and Commercial segments.
• Build a future-ready organisation through recruitment, coaching, succession planning, retention, and capability development.
• Represent hirify.global with customer and partner executives, industry events, analysts, and forums while translating field insights into product and investment recommendations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive technical leadership experience in enterprise infrastructure, cloud, data management, storage, or adjacent technology markets.
• Experience scaling pre-sales or Solutions Engineering teams within ANZ and developing high-performing leaders.
• Proven success partnering with senior sales leaders to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and business execution.
• Experience leading organisational transformation and change while balancing near-term delivery with long-term capability building.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, hybrid cloud, data management, cybersecurity, AI, modern infrastructure technologies, and competitive dynamics.
• Executive presence, strategic thinking, business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders, customers, and partners.
