Senior Scrum Master

Location: Remote within the United States; position associated with Santa Ana, California

Salary: $112,400–$149,800 annually

What you will do

• Facilitate Scrum and Agile events, including daily syncs, backlog refinement, iteration planning, reviews, retrospectives, and PI Planning.
• Coach teams and Product Owners on Scrum, Kanban, Lean-Agile principles, backlog health, prioritization, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Improve delivery predictability, quality, flow, accountability, transparency, and alignment with customer and business outcomes.
• Identify, track, escalate, and help remove impediments, risks, dependencies, and organizational barriers.
• Use Jira and delivery metrics to communicate progress, trends, risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with engineering leaders, architects, business partners, Release Train Engineers, and other Scrum Masters on cross-team challenges and the Agile operating model.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience applying Scrum and Agile methods as a Scrum Master for an agile software delivery team.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean-Agile principles, continuous improvement, backlog management, and outcome-based delivery.
• Experience coaching Agile teams across different sizes, maturity levels, and delivery contexts.
• Moderate to expert-level experience with Jira or comparable Agile delivery tools.
• Strong facilitation, communication, conflict-resolution, negotiation, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Certified ScrumMaster or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master certification and a bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field are required.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of experience with the Scaled Agile Framework.
