Vice President, Preconstruction, Maintenance & Construction

Salary: $219,433–$329,150 per year

What you will do

• Develop and lead enterprise-wide preconstruction strategy, governance frameworks, performance metrics, and continuous improvement programs.
• Oversee estimating, front-end planning, schedule development, constructability reviews, and integration with engineering deliverables.
• Direct pre-execution risk management, procurement planning, market engagement, commercial integration, and regulatory compliance.
• Establish project handoff processes, acceptance criteria, signoff protocols, and readiness requirements.
• Lead digital preconstruction initiatives involving BIM/VDC, model-based estimating, 4D/5D planning, analytics, automation, and responsible AI-enabled workflows.
• Recruit, develop, and retain preconstruction teams while implementing career development and succession frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 15 years of progressively responsible experience in construction, engineering, EPC, design-build, or construction management.
• At least 7 years of senior leadership experience across multiple functions, business units, geographic locations, or complex project portfolios.
• Executive-level expertise in estimating, cost control, schedule integration, constructability, engineering collaboration, risk analysis, procurement, and commercial integration.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, team leadership, and succession-planning capabilities.
• Must be based in the United States; the role is remote.
