Personal Banker

Location: Monroe Branch, 1812 W. Monroe St., Phoenix, AZ 85007, United States

Salary: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience and before eligible incentives

What you will do

• Build trusted relationships with members and provide advice on their financial needs.
• Open accounts, onboard new members, identify suitable products, and conduct client-focused follow-up.
• Facilitate loan applications, submit documentation for underwriting, and conduct loan closings.
• Analyze member financial information and support transactions through branch, ATM, internet, and mobile channels.
• Grow the customer base through networking and community events.
• Perform teller activities and transactions according to branch needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to three years of related customer service, sales, or client-facing experience.
• Strong relationship-building and client-focused sales skills.
• Excellent verbal, phone, email, internet, and writing skills.
• Ability to complete required credit and criminal background checks.
• Compliance with applicable banking regulations, including BSA, AML, the USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC requirements.

Nice to have

• One year of cash-handling experience, preferably at a financial institution.
• NMLS registration if the role qualifies as a mortgage loan originator.
