Indirect Buyer (MRO)

Location: Querétaro City, Mexico; onsite in an office and/or manufacturing environment

What you will do

• Partner with program management, engineering, corporate, and NPI teams to create purchase orders based on business requirements.
• Obtain materials, components, and equipment for indirect and MRO needs.
• Gather quotations, examine bids, and award business to suppliers.
• Determine material requirements from engineering and production schedules while maintaining planned inventory levels.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor material movement through the production cycle.
• Evaluate vendor reliability and develop new supply sources when existing suppliers are inadequate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to exchange accurate information and work with documents and details at close range.
• Ability to operate computers and office productivity equipment continuously.
• Ability to work onsite in Querétaro City, Mexico, in an office and/or manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• CPIM and/or APICS certification.
