What you will do
- Purchase products and manage order fulfillment to support business demand, inventory turns, and supplier delivery performance.
- Track purchase order status, shipping, delivery information, backlog updates, reporting, and communication with internal teams and suppliers.
- Develop supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, provide quotes to sales, and drive supplier accountability and process improvements.
- Coordinate with warehouses, logistics teams, and transportation carriers to ensure timely product receipt and delivery.
- Manage non-conforming inventory, product disposition, inventory aging, fill rate, stock rotation, and liquidations.
- Communicate order status and problem resolution to planners, sales, and customer operations while supporting supplier management initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Typically less than 2 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Foundational knowledge of specialized disciplines, industry practices, and standards.
- Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and develop solutions to defined tasks and projects.
- Ability to collaborate with management, department members, suppliers, warehouse teams, and logistics partners.
