Senior Pricing Analyst (Insurance) - 12-month FTC

What you will do

• Own and maintain pricing models across multiple Crisis Management insurance classes, ensuring alignment with Lloyd's and industry best practice.
• Lead pricing assessments for complex new business, renewals, and portfolio initiatives, providing recommendations to underwriting teams.
• Analyze portfolio performance and deliver insights for underwriting strategy, portfolio management, and business planning.
• Develop pricing methodologies, analytical tools, and model-based capabilities to improve decision-making.
• Lead workstreams covering model development and process improvement while collaborating with Underwriting, Finance, Reserving, Exposure Management, and Reinsurance.
• Present complex analysis to senior stakeholders and coach junior analysts.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in insurance pricing, actuarial work, underwriting, or a related analytical role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, commercial, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently on complex or ambiguous challenges.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large or complex datasets.
• Experience applying statistical or analytical techniques to commercial decisions.
• Degree-level education with a numerate emphasis or equivalent relevant experience.
• Fluent written and spoken business English.

Nice to have

• Analytical programming experience with Python, R, SQL, or VBA.
• Experience with Tableau, Snowflake, or Dataiku.
• Progress toward actuarial or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Experience developing pricing models or portfolio management tools.
• London Market or Lloyd's experience.
