Business Analyst (Banking)

Location: 14985 Glazier Avenue, Apple Valley, Minnesota, United States

Salary: USD 92,000–107,000 per year, plus a 15% annual target bonus.

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders and project teams to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
• Define problem statements, scope boundaries, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and expected business value.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and project artifacts.
• Collaborate with process designers, data analysts, architects, developers, vendors, and stakeholders on solution design and delivery.
• Document current-state and future-state processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, risk management, member experience, and organizational effectiveness.
• Support scope management, project intake, prioritization, capacity planning, and user acceptance testing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements management, process improvement, project delivery, or a related area.
• Experience working on cross-functional projects involving business and technology stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of business analysis concepts, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements and gain consensus among multiple parties.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in financial services, banking, or credit unions.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office tools, including Visio, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
