What you will do

• Support PVD, CVD, and ALD deposition processes for dielectric and metal thin films.
• Drive process performance, sustainment, technology development, defect reduction, yield improvement, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Own manufacturing processes and equipment while tracking safety, quality, cost, productivity, and other KPIs.
• Plan and coordinate complex projects, capacity expansion, technology transfer, and ramp-to-volume production activities.
• Partner with equipment vendors and cross-functional stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and improve tool performance.
• Lead equipment installation, conversion, qualification, readiness, excursion prevention, and root-cause analysis activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, plus 4+ years of semiconductor manufacturing process engineering experience; or a relevant master’s degree plus 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes, process flows, equipment troubleshooting, and Model-Based Problem Solving methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with thin-film processes and deposition equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data-driven trend analysis and sustainable process improvement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional manufacturing organization and support vendor and technician collaboration.
• On-site presence in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Tool Owner or Process Owner in technology development, transfer, or high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience leading projects, mentoring engineers, or providing technical leadership.
• Demonstrated success in quality improvement and process optimization initiatives.
