Senior Buyer

Location: Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico; onsite

What you will do

• Supply materials for production and interpret material requirements planning (MRP) requirements.
• Generate, monitor, and expedite purchase orders with external suppliers.
• Coordinate daily with production, planning, and internal and external suppliers.
• Manage inventory levels to meet production and financial requirements.
• Resolve material rejections, quality issues, accounts payable discrepancies, and consignment inventory differences.
• Communicate business issues and opportunities while supporting health, safety, environmental, and company compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience in planning and purchasing.
• Knowledge of JDE and SAP systems.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• Ability to work under pressure, with a self-driven and self-motivated approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with category management, spend analysis, supplier collaboration, sustainable procurement, or vendor selection.
• Knowledge of business data analysis, process design, risk management, and new program development.
