What you will do

• Serve as a scientific liaison to medical and scientific communities and build relationships with experts and clinicians.
• Educate healthcare partners, payers, providers, advocacy groups, and access stakeholders on clinical, scientific, outcomes, and economic data.
• Develop and execute scientific engagement plans, local opinion-leader plans, and MSL goals and metrics.
• Support sponsored research, non-sponsored clinical research, investigator relationships, and study leadership.
• Lead or support speaker training, congress activities, project teams, and cross-functional MSL initiatives.
• Provide field insights, respond to unsolicited inquiries compliantly, and maintain clinical expertise.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree, or a master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Experience in scientific or medical affairs at a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company is preferred.
• Three or more years of clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research experience is preferred.
• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or another doctoral degree is preferred.
• Rare Disease therapeutic-area expertise is preferred.
• Work is associated with a US territory covering Maryland and Delaware.
