Facilities Coordinator I

Location: College Station, Texas; remote or alternate-location work is not available.

Salary: $51,042.60 starting salary, commensurate with experience.

What you will do

• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities involving mechanical and electrical operations, HVAC, custodial services, and landscaping.
• Assist with routine, preventive, and planned facility maintenance issues.
• Coordinate departmental moves, after-hours emergencies, renovation and construction projects, building access, and space planning.
• Support emergency management activities and help maintain safe, comfortable, and functional buildings.
• Work with other departments, service providers, and campus partners to provide customer service to faculty, staff, students, and guests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, creative thinking, and customer service skills.
• Work must be performed in College Station, Texas; remote or alternate-location work is not available.
• Employment is contingent upon credential verification and completion of a criminal history investigation.

• Experience in facilities management or building maintenance.
