Salary: $37.18–$47.41 per hour, based on full-time equivalent

What you will do

• Provide professional nursing care and manage patient care from admission through discharge.
• Assess patients, establish expected outcomes, and develop individualized care plans with patients and families.
• Administer medications, perform nursing procedures, and evaluate patient responses using evidence-based practice.
• Coordinate patient education, discharge planning, referrals, and collaboration with physicians and other healthcare disciplines.
• Document treatments, procedures, care-plan changes, and patient outcomes according to hospital and regulatory requirements.
• Support patient safety, quality improvement, shared governance, mentoring, and may assume charge nurse functions.

Requirements

• Massachusetts RN licensure required.
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of the nursing process, medication administration, patient safety, and evidence-based care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work prolonged periods standing and walking, lift or turn patients, and handle exposure to infectious disease, blood-borne pathogens, and potentially carcinogenic chemicals.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Three years of clinical nursing experience.
• Department-specific certifications relevant to the patient population and care provided.
