Registered Nurse Medical Oncology Full Time Nights

Location: 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, Illinois; onsite night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with rotating shifts

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Provide nursing care to acutely ill adult oncology patients in a 26-bed medical oncology and step-down unit.
• Administer inpatient chemotherapy and support symptom management.
• Provide palliative, end-of-life, and hospice care.
• Assess patients, develop individualized care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff.
• Document care, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, shared governance, committees, and unit projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; an Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work full-time overnight shifts with rotating schedules.
