Director, Product Capabilities Lead (Technology)

Location: Boston, United States; hybrid work arrangement with 18 remote workdays per quarter

Base salary: $170,000–$180,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus and additional total rewards.

What you will do

• Own the technology and data roadmap for third-party administrators, including priorities, dependencies, capacity, and sequencing.
• Lead administrator technology relationships, data specifications, onboarding, commitments, and defect resolution.
• Translate business needs into requirements and source-to-target mappings for engineering teams.
• Coordinate data architects, modelers, data owners, operations teams, project managers, analysts, and business leaders around shared data products.
• Design reconciliation and data quality controls, investigate root causes, and drive issues through resolution.
• Lead launch readiness through testing, parallel runs, cutover planning, risk tracking, and go/no-go recommendations while coaching one direct report.

Requirements

• More than eight years of experience in fund administration, fund operations technology, or wealth platform technology, including at least two years setting priorities.
• Strong understanding of fund administration data, including NAV reporting, holdings, positions, trades, security reference data, cash and capital activity, and investor records.
• Experience connecting a fund or vehicle with an administrator or transfer agent.
• Strong SQL skills for data profiling and identifying loss or duplication.
• Understanding of cloud data platforms, layered or medallion architecture, data lineage, and snapshot versus point-in-time data.
• Experience with concurrent delivery workstreams, backlog management, user acceptance testing, cutover, delivery partners, and employee or matrix leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with private-markets fund structures, evergreen or semi-liquid vehicles, subscriptions, redemptions, tenders, NAV cycles, and capital calls.
• Exposure to Luxembourg or Irish fund regimes, Azure DevOps, Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse, or Python for data profiling.
