Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – NICE Actimize Fraud Platforms (NICE Actimize)

Location: Buffalo, New York, United States; four days onsite at Seneca One Buffalo and one day per week remote.

Salary: $116,400–$194,000 annual USD.

What you will do

• Provide production support for NICE Actimize Fraud, AML, and Financial Crime applications, maintaining high availability and system stability.
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, problem management, service restoration, and operational readiness activities.
• Build observability solutions with Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, logging, tracing, dashboards, and automated alerting.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines, release engineering processes, deployment governance, validation testing, and post-deployment monitoring.
• Implement Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code and automation to standardize provisioning and eliminate repetitive operational work.
• Support Azure operations, AIQ onboarding, data center and cloud migrations, production cutovers, and post-migration stability.

Requirements

• At least eight years of combined higher education and/or work experience in systems design, management, or architecture.
• Experience supporting NICE Actimize, Fraud Prevention, AML, Financial Crime, CIAM, Ping Identity, MFA, and customer authentication platforms.
• Required mainframe experience and proficiency with DBA/SQL queries for transaction health and integrity validation.
• Strong experience with Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboarding, incident response, and RCA.
• Hands-on expertise with CI/CD, release engineering, deployment automation, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Azure, and production support.
• Understanding of SRE principles, reliability engineering, high availability, resiliency, performance, and operational excellence.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of engineering experience supporting mission-critical banking applications across Fraud, AML, AIQ, CIAM, and Financial Crimes platforms.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure migration initiatives and AIQ platform support.
