Associate, Operations Engineer (Banking)

Location: New York, New York; hybrid work model with in-office and work-from-home flexibility

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 base salary per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Own day-to-day operational management for a portfolio of business-critical applications.
• Lead incident resolution, problem management, root cause analysis, application changes, and production releases.
• Coordinate Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity testhirify.global.
• Monitor application health, availability, performance, capacity, alerthirify.global, and operational dashboards.
• Implement automation, standardization, documentation, and process improvements to reduce operational risk.
• Partner with developers, business stakeholders, infrastructure, database, security, and vendor teams.

Requirements

• 3–4+ years of experience in Application Support, Operations Engineerhirify.global, DevOps, SRE, or a similar role.
• Experience supporthirify.global business-critical applications in financial services and regulated environments.
• Experience with incidents, problems, changes, releases, Disaster Recovery exercises, and production support.
• Strong SQL skills and workhirify.global knowledge of Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of application architecture, integrations, monitorhirify.global, observability, CI/CD, and release management.
• Experience with scripthirify.global and automation ushirify.global PowerShell, Python, Shell scripthirify.global, or similar tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with MQ, XFB, SFTP, Cognos, Power BI, cloud platforms, and DevOps toolhirify.global.
• Knowledge of Java, APIs, web services, and middleware engineerhirify.global.
• Background in bankhirify.global, capital markets, treasury, lendhirify.global, payments, finance, risk, or regulatory reporthirify.global.
• Experience workhirify.global with auditors, risk teams, and regulatory stakeholders.
