What you will do

• Partner with engineering, architecture, infrastructure, and business teams to strengthen enterprise resiliency capabilities.
• Evaluate applications and platforms for resiliency, recoverability, operational readiness, and recovery risks.
• Provide architectural guidance across requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Assess and recommend backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and application recovery strategies.
• Develop resiliency improvement roadmaps and contribute to cloud, infrastructure, application, and data architecture decisions.
• Establish governance and controls covering vulnerabilities, performance, observability, and system resiliency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 10 years of related experience in software development, resiliency, application or data architecture, API-based architectures, or related fields.
• Experience with Java application development, containerized delivery pipelines, Terraform, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with AWS or GCP, relational databases, data modeling, NoSQL technologies, and distributed data architectures.
• Knowledge of resilient REST API and microservices architectures, including throttling, retries, secure API management, and distributed communication patterns.
• Experience with APM and observability platforms such as Dynatrace or Datadog, including telemetry, distributed tracing, and centralized logging.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise resiliency, ransomware recovery, business continuity, backup and recovery testing.
• Experience in banking or financial services and other complex, highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with generative AI for intelligent automation, incident analysis, and knowledge-driven operational support.
