Capital Project Engineer

Location: On-site in Hutchinson, Minnesota, United States; at least four days per week on site. Travel may include up to 10%, primarily domestic. Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Salary: $98,964–$120,957 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Manage project timelines and budgets for assigned capital projects.
• Lead cross-functional teams executing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Coordinate with plant personnel, consultants, suppliers, and multiple engineering disciplines.
• Estimate capital equipment and installation costs.
• Design, specify, debug, and commission custom equipment when applicable.
• Protect intellectual property and comply with corporate, security, and environmental health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or a science discipline.
• At least three years of combined experience in engineering, manufacturing, and/or project management.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• Ability to work on site in Hutchinson, Minnesota, at least four days per week.
• Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional, matrix environment.
• Proficiency with business, office, and technical software, including spreadsheets, presentations, scheduling, budget management, and AutoCAD.

Nice to have

• Five years of experience in capital equipment and/or facilities project management.
• Experience with web line, converting, material handling, or automation equipment.
• Experience designing, specifying, debugging, and commissioning custom equipment.
