Test Technician II (Turbomachinery)

Location: San Diego, California; onsite five days a week

Salary: $36.80–$55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Plan, schedule, and execute complex turbomachinery testing and measurement science assignments.
• Operate complex equipment and perform advanced equipment calibration activities.
• Perform and document tests and calibration results, validating data and identifying anomalous experimental results.
• Troubleshoot technical problems independently and implement corrective actions during testing operations.
• Develop new testing methods and techniques when established procedures are not available.
• Follow EHS procedures and coach peers on safe work practices.

Requirements

• At least two years of applicable technician experience and training.
• Demonstrated knowledge of hirify.global products, with emphasis on testing or metrology methods.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work the second shift.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week in San Diego, California.

Nice to have

• Experience with engine mechanical work.
• Turbine engine test experience.
