Audit Manager, People, Culture & Talent and Legal (Retail Banking)

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Plan, execute, and report on risk-based audits across the People, Culture & Talent and Legal portfolio.
• Assess business risks and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of processes and controls.
• Identify and communicate internal control weaknesses, inefficiencies, and emerging risks.
• Advise management and business partners on best practices, policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with audit management and team members on audit planning, reporting, continuous monitoring, and process improvement.
• Manage multiple audit assignments and provide regular progress updates.

Requirements

• Experience planning and executing audits.
• Comprehensive knowledge of auditing practices, accounting standards, regulatory requirements, risk management principles, and retail banking within a large financial institution.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, investigation, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively, influence stakeholders, and manage multiple assignments.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to provide a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• A degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance and a professional designation such as CPA, MBA, CIA, FRM, or CRMA are assets.
