QA Supervisor (Manufacturing Quality)

Location: Cookeville, Tennessee, United States; on-site work across the manufacturing floor and office, with PPE required in operational areas.

What you will do

• Lead daily quality assurance activities and maintain documentation in line with the Quality Management System and ISO 9001.
• Supervise quality inspectors and technicians, assign priorities, and provide coaching and on-the-floor guidance.
• Lead investigations into product non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct production-floor audits, track quality metrics, and report performance trends to the Quality Manager.
• Partner with Production, Operations, Engineering, and other departments to meet customer and company requirements.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management for the quality team.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of Quality Systems such as ISO 9001.
• Ability to make independent decisions and drive corrective action.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work between manufacturing-floor and office settings, with PPE compliance required in operational areas.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the applicable country without current or future employer-sponsored immigration support.

Nice to have

• Prior lead or supervisory experience.
• ASQ Certified Quality Technician or Certified Quality Engineer certification.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
