Fabricator I

Location: Onsite at Sedalia DC, Sedalia, Missouri, USA. Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

Salary: $21.50 per hour, plus monthly incentive payments after completion of the 90-day probationary period.

What you will do

• Cut rope to customer-specified lengths using chop saws and measuring tools.
• Assist with pressing and installing buttons to defined diameter requirements.
• Train for and obtain annual welding certification.
• Strip plastic coating and apply protective coatings or paint to rope and button assemblies.
• Perform visual quality inspections and follow safety, quality, and standard work procedures.
• Operate hand tools and entry-level fabrication equipment while maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or demonstrated basic literacy and math proficiency.
• Ability to read basic work instructions and measurements.
• Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn fabrication processes.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and work with hands for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Fluent English and unrestricted U.S. work authorization required.

Nice to have

• Prior manufacturing or fabrication experience.
