Aircraft Electrician (Aerospace)

Location: Mojave, California, United States; onsite. Travel to offsite locations may be required depending on aircraft dispatch location.

Base salary: $31.67–$45.92 per hour for Level I or $38.50–$55.85 per hour for Level II.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, fabricate, install, maintain, and repair carrier aircraft electrical systems and components.
• Install and repair wiring, connectors, and equipment supporting aircraft electrical power generation, distribution, and utilization.
• Perform final functional and operational testing of electrical systems.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, technical data, and specifications.
• Complete installation records accurately and on time.
• Work in confined spaces and at heights greater than 25 feet when required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting, fabricating, installing, and maintaining aircraft electrical systems.
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Level I: 0–5 years of relevant experience; Level II: 5–10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of FOD control and tool control.
• Ability to solve problems, adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and take initiative.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to personnel safety, accuracy, integrity, and responsibility.
