Health Scientist I

Location: Atlanta, GA, United States; work is primarily performed in an office/warehouse setting.

Estimated pay range: $87,740–$110,000 per year, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.

What you will do

• Support program evaluation, performance measurement, implementation assessment, and technical assistance activities for THEEB.
• Develop evaluation plans, logic models, indicators, and program outcomes.
• Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative program data and interpret findings in context.
• Assess program processes, implementation barriers, facilitators, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare evaluation reports and presentations and support partner meetings, evaluation assistance, and training.
• Use CDC administrative systems, including Human Subjects, OMB, IRB, and E-Clearance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in public health, health science, epidemiology, evaluation, social science, or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant professional experience in public health, evaluation, health science, program monitoring, or a related field.
• Experience with program evaluation, data collection and analysis, logic-model development, implementation assessment, and public health program support.
• Knowledge of implementation research, process evaluation, program monitoring, and evaluation principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required customer clearance and complete any applicable government background investigation or security clearance.
