Director of Tech Ops (AV Technology)

Location: Dallas, Texas; Austin, Texas; Phoenix, Arizona, USA. Travel is required as needed.

What you will do

• Manage the design and integration strategy for collaborative technology environments and electronic security services.
• Lead Tech Ops personnel, including hiring, compensation reviews, training, performance management, and retention.
• Develop operational strategies, departmental goals, staffing plans, budgets, and growth plans.
• Manage quoting activities, approve labor estimates, oversee project schedules, and allocate resources across AVE, M&E, SCS, and ESS divisions.
• Own Tech Ops contributions to P&L reporting, operating expenses, revenue forecasts, billing, and financial targets.
• Partner with Sales, Project Management, Business Operations, People, Finance, and other territories to improve delivery, process efficiency, and profitability.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading operations functions in high technology, electronics or AV manufacturing/integration, or IT.
• Experience with both in-house and outsourced AV manufacturing or integration.
• At least two years of leadership experience with P&L responsibility.
• Strong strategic planning, business analysis, judgment, and initiative.
• Effective time and task management skills, with the ability to apply those practices across a team.
• Ability to collaborate in a leadership role to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
