Director of Operations (GMP/Cleanroom Operations)

Location: West Northern California; on-site work includes driving from account to account and physical cleanroom operations.

Salary: $150,000 base salary annually, plus full benefits, 401(k) with company match, annual director bonus, and monthly car allowance.

What you will do

• Oversee cleanroom cleaning operations and quality programs for assigned accounts or groups of sites.
• Plan and lead projects focused on operational efficiency, productivity, best practices, and defined quality goals.
• Manage cGMP documentation, deviations, corrective and preventive actions, inventory levels, and compliance activities.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and develop staff in cGMP practices, technical skills, safety, and performance management.
• Represent the company in customer meetings and coordinate with sales and regional management.
• Manage regional P&L and financial performance through analysis of statements, operating reports, and budget variances.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in janitorial, cleaning, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience supervising others required.
• Strong communication, customer service, initiative, problem-solving, conflict resolution, documentation, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements, plus adherence to GMP regulations and labor laws.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift or climb, drive between accounts, and handle loads of up to 30 pounds.
