What you will do

• Design, configure, and maintain Snowflake semantic layers, including Cortex Analyst semantic views, business logic, and metric definitions.
• Build and deliver client metrics, reporting, and production-grade SQL and Python pipelines.
• Design and implement RAG systems, agentic workflows, MCP-based tooling, and AI evaluation harnesses.
• Act as the senior AI technical voice on client engagements, shaping technical direction and AI roadmaps.
• Implement and troubleshoot solutions directly in client environments and translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Partner with product, data science, and operations teams to move AI/ML systems from prototype to production.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software or AI engineering experience, including hands-on AI/ML system design.
• Deep hands-on experience with Snowflake, Snowpark, Snowflake Cortex, and Snowflake ML.
• Experience building Snowflake semantic layers and delivering metrics and reporting from them for clients.
• Demonstrated experience with GenAI and agentic systems, including RAG, MCP-based tooling, agent orchestration, and evaluation harnesses.
• Proven forward-deployed, implementation, professional-services, or client-facing engineering experience with personally owned engagements.
• Strong Python engineering, production AI/ML pipeline, communication, and independent technical judgment skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on Databricks experience, including Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, and MLflow.
• Healthcare payer or provider claims data experience.
• Classical machine learning, model fine-tuning, or relevant Snowflake certifications.
