Senior Data Engineer (AI): Building scalable data pipelines, ML pipelines, and agentic systems that generate, test, and maintain data engineering workflows for a large e-commerce platform with an accent on Python, Snowflake, AWS, and production AI/LLM systems. Focus on automating pipeline development, improving monitoring across complex user journeys, and designing reliable infrastructure for analytics and machine learning.

What you will do
- Build and scale reliable, performant data pipelines for ingestion into Snowflake across a $750M+ e-commerce business.
- Design and ship agentic systems that automate pipeline generation, testing, and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain ML pipelines that operationalize models and integrate them with the data infrastructure.
- Implement data monitoring across complex, multi-system user journeys.
- Collaborate with Analytics Engineers on data modeling and the reliability of shared data assets.
- Partner with product, analyst, and ML teams on end-to-end data solutions from ingestion through advanced analytics and AI.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building production-grade data systems at scale.
- Production experience with AI/LLM systems, including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and tool integrations such as MCP servers.
- Deep proficiency in Python and data engineering, including ETL and data modeling principles.
- Proficiency with Airflow and dbt.
- Experience provisioning and managing AWS resources including EC2, S3, Lambda, and EKS.
- Familiarity with Snowflake or a comparable modern cloud data warehouse, plus experience collaborating with analysts and data scientists.
