Registered Nurse Emergency Department Full Time Evenings Sign on Bonus Eligible

Location: 10400 Haligus Rd, Huntley, Illinois, United States; onsite evening shift

Salary: $34.50–$55.20 per hour. Sign-on bonus: $2,500 for experienced emergency department registered nurses with at least one year of experience.

What you will do

• Assess acutely ill patients and collect, analyze, and document clinical data.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Coordinate care delivery and direct the work of assistants involved in patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, and unit projects.
• Use research findings and best available evidence to guide nursing practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and collaboration skills.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• Newly hired team members may be subject to a criminal background check.

Nice to have

• Experience in the relevant clinical area, especially emergency or pediatric emergency care.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist (TNS) certification.
• Emergency Communications Registered Nurse experience.
• Certified Pediatric Nurse or Certified Emergency Nurse certification.
