IT Enterprise Applications Technical Project Manager

Location: On-site at hirify.global Center in Maplewood, Minnesota, at least four days per week. Travel may include up to 5% domestic or international travel. Relocation is not authorized.

Expected annual compensation: $145,676–$178,049, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Lead technical projects focused on vulnerability remediation, technical debt reduction, application modernization, and platform risk mitigation.
• Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, application, architecture, vendor, and stakeholder teams to assess findings and define remediation plans.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risk registers, and status reporting for multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Coordinate patching, upgrades, configuration changes, decommissioning, and technology refresh activities across application portfolios.
• Prioritize technical debt based on business impact, security and operational risk, compliance needs, and resource availability.
• Track remediation against service-level expectations, risk thresholds, and project commitments while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a technology-related field.
• At least six years of IT project experience in an enterprise environment, including private, public, government, or military settings.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, application lifecycle management, infrastructure dependencies, cybersecurity concepts, and technology risk.
• Experience managing vulnerability remediation, application upgrades, technical debt reduction, modernization, or platform stabilization projects.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools.
• PMP, Agile, Scrum Master, ITIL, or cybersecurity-related certification.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys or Wiz.
• Experience supporting ERP, HR, finance, manufacturing, or supply chain application portfolios.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, identity and access management, middleware, databases, integrations, application hosting, and technology risk reduction programs.
