Location: Hybrid in Brookline, Massachusetts; 2–3 days onsite per week

Salary: $45,500–$54,400 per year

What you will do

  • Coordinate new patient care and scheduling for the Sarcoma Center.
  • Answer telephone calls, emails, and referral requests while providing clear program information.
  • Complete patient intake, collect detailed clinical information, and triage or escalate issues appropriately.
  • Schedule and reschedule appointments ranging from individual physician visits to complex multi-provider care.
  • Coordinate medical records, tissue receipt, appointment packets, materials requests, and electronic medical record portal enrollment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, care teams, and other New Patient Coordinators to maintain timely, compliant patient care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in health administration or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Up to 1 year of healthcare and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, customer service, phone etiquette, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, solve problems in real time, learn new processes quickly, and work effectively within a team.
  • PC proficiency required.
  • Experience serving adult patients and supporting clinical care workflows.
