Clinical Coordinator-GI Surgical Oncology Full-time Nights

Location: 251 E. Huron, Chicago, IL, United States; full-time night shift

Salary: USD 42.50–68.00 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate interdisciplinary patient care, patient flow, staffing, and resource utilization during the assigned night shift.
• Direct patient care delivered by registered nurses and support personnel while providing ongoing patient assessment and intervention.
• Coordinate staffing assignments, anticipate coverage needs, and support cost-effective unit operations.
• Monitor patient responses, document progress, maintain safety, and respond to critical situations.
• Lead quality improvement activities, communicate incidents and operational trends, and recommend improvements.
• Orient staff to Clinical Coordinator and Charge responsibilities and serve as a resource for the unit.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• At least two years of clinical experience in the relevant specialty.
• Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• For NMH, Magnet-recognized certification must be held or obtained within one year; specialty certification is preferred.
• Ability to meet applicable regulatory, accreditation, background-check, and compliance requirements.

Nice to have

• Specialty clinical area certification for NMHC positions excluding NMH.
