What you will do

• Develop project documents, including calculations, reports, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Assist with conceptual automation designs under the direction of the project team lead.
• Apply automation technologies such as PLCs, SCADA systems, and process controls.
• Coordinate with engineers from other disciplines, vendors, clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Support projects for advanced facilities in the life sciences and food and beverage industries.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Architectural Engineering from an accredited program.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Interest in the food and beverage or life sciences industries.
• Eagerness to learn about the AEC industry and apply academic knowledge to engineering projects.

Nice to have

• Progress toward or completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam registration.
• Familiarity with computer-aided drafting, process modeling, calculation software, and AEC regulations and standards.
• Prior electrical engineering internship or co-op experience.
