Security Engineer, Enterprise Security (AI Robotics)

Location: San Jose, CA; 5 days per week in-office

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 annually

What you will do

• Build endpoint hardening controls for macOS, Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS using FleetDM, osquery, GitOps, and reviewed merge requests.
• Enforce device-aware data access through phishing-resistant authentication, session controls, and device posture checks.
• Manage AI assistants and coding agents through enterprise configuration, permissions, and verification controls.
• Design application authentication, RBAC, access lifecycles, provisioning, and revocation based on threat modeling.
• Lead SaaS and third-party security reviews covering vendors, OAuth grants, integrations, browser extensions, and browser-based data movement.
• Build application inventories, posture management, grant tracking, vulnerability controls, and threat-modeling practices in partnership with Detection and Response and IT.

Requirements

• 6+ years of corporate or enterprise security engineering experience.
• Software engineering discipline in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or a similar language.
• Experience applying configuration-as-code and CI/CD to corporate infrastructure.
• Strong threat-modeling judgment and the ability to drive identified security problems to completion.
• Depth in at least one area: endpoint security, identity and access, or application access design; working knowledge of the other areas.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Fleet-wide osquery telemetry, certificate-based device identity, phased enforcement rollouts, or experience securing devices outside the corporate network.
• Experience with mTLS, 802.1X, SSH certificate authorities, DKIM, DMARC, SPF, SAML, OIDC, or SCIM.
• Experience securing agentic or LLM-integrated systems through permission models, credential isolation, and egress control.
