Senior System Administrator (DevSecOps)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States

Salary: $120,900–$130,000 per year for Colorado Springs, CO only.

What you will do

• Manage Gravity DevSecOps Pipeline infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, cloud environments, and monitoring systems.
• Implement and maintain Docker, Kubernetes, virtualization platforms, CI/CD workflows, and GitOps-based software delivery automation.
• Automate deployment and operational tasks with Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Apply patches, security controls, vulnerability mitigation, disaster recovery, and backup procedures in accordance with DoD and Space Force standards.
• Respond to outages, performance bottlenecks, and security incidents while maintaining system availability, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, operations, and security teams and maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation.

Requirements

• Secret security clearance required for consideration.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar complex infrastructure role.
• Experience managing Linux/Unix and Windows environments, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, containers, virtualization, networks, storage, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools, including Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet.
• Knowledge of patch management, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, security controls, and cross-functional infrastructure operations.

Nice to have

• Top Secret clearance with SCI.
• Experience in DoD, Space Force, or other defense environments.
• Familiarity with STIGs, RMF, or other government compliance frameworks.
• CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or RHCSA certification.
