Electrical Engineering Co-Op (Embedded Systems/Analog and Power)

Location: Boston, MA; full-time onsite work required at least 4 days per week. Work period: January–June 2027. No relocation or housing assistance is provided.

What you will do

• Participate in the development of high-performance audio products.
• Learn the end-to-end design process for gigahertz SoC-based embedded systems.
• Perform circuit analysis and simulation for high-speed digital interconnects and low-voltage power distribution.
• Design, prototype, test, validate, debug, and improve embedded, analog, and power circuits.
• Support the development and verification of power supplies, audio amplifiers, ADC/DAC interfaces, and signal-conditioning circuits.
• Characterize efficiency, audio performance, thermal behavior, stability, and protection features.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university, preferably studying Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant coursework in circuit theory, digital logic, computer systems, computer organization, analog electronics, power electronics, or control systems.
• Highly motivated to learn, passionate about electronics, and able to take ownership of work.
• Available for the full-time January–June 2027 co-op program and able to work from the Boston office at least 4 days per week.
• Must be authorized to work for any US employer now and in the future; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Linux navigation, network configuration, embedded hardware design, synchronous digital electronics, or transmission line theory.
• Experience with analog, power, or audio circuit design and testing.
• Familiarity with switching power supplies, amplifiers, ADCs, DACs, op amps, feedback, stability, filtering, noise, and distortion.
• Experience with circuit simulation tools and common laboratory equipment.
