Service Advisor (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Las Vegas, NV, United States; onsite. Flexible AM, PM, and Moonlight shifts are required to support 24/7 fleet operations.

What you will do

• Act as the operational liaison between field operations and maintenance, coordinating vehicle service requests.
• Perform technical intake and triage of vehicles returning from the field, prioritizing repairs by shift requirements and fleet availability.
• Schedule preventive and urgent maintenance, coordinate ready-to-launch vehicles, and manage depot throughput.
• Oversee work orders, vehicle histories, technician feedback, shift handovers, and KPI reporting.
• Investigate recurring vehicle issues through root cause analysis and develop mitigation and process improvements.
• Enforce safety, quality, warranty, and documentation standards, including the 4 Cs: Condition, Cause, Correction, and Confirmation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in automotive service advising, fleet maintenance coordination, or dealership service operations.
• High school diploma or GED; automotive technology, logistics, or business education is a plus.
• Experience with maintenance management systems, enterprise resource planning tools, inventory tracking, work orders, and spreadsheet-based KPI reporting.
• Knowledge of warranty documentation and the 4 Cs methodology, with the ability to audit technician notes.
• Familiarity with EV and AV systems, including high-voltage batteries, driver-assistance calibration, sensors, and vehicle cleaning systems.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving history, ability to pass required drug screening, and willingness to work in a safety-sensitive role.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-uptime fleets such as rental, logistics, or emergency-services vehicles.
• Previous technician experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience coordinating external vendors, body shops, and internal parts logistics.
• Post-secondary education in automotive technology, logistics, or business administration.
