What you will do

• Install, remove, repair, and maintain insulation on ductwork, plumbing systems, HVAC piping, and other mechanical systems.
• Assess assigned work, complete material takeoffs, and follow contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, fit, fabricate, and install insulation materials and metal jacketing.
• Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and specialized construction equipment.
• Follow company, project, and site-specific safety requirements while maintaining a clean work area.
• Complete OSHA 10 training and other duties based on project needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to safely use and maintain required tools and equipment, including hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret contract drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Ability to meet screening and access requirements for assigned projects, including federal and military installations.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, at elevated heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and successfully complete respirator fit testing.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in construction, mechanical insulation, HVAC installation or repair, or a related field.
• Spanish language skills.
