Software Engineering Co-op (Cloud)

Location: Boston, MA; minimum 4 days per week onsite. Full-time, 40 hours per week, from January 2027 through June 2027. No relocation or housing assistance is provided.

What you will do

• Monitor, debug, and improve cloud, automation, analytics, and telemetry infrastructure.
• Build data, metrics, dashboards, and observability capabilities for measurement and production debugging.
• Maintain automated development pipelines that provide timely feedback and support release-quality delivery.
• Design and implement automated testing methodologies and frameworks.
• Own cloud services end to end, including participation in the on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues in deployed and production features.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with backend or cloud technologies and knowledge of QA methodology, software testing processes, and best practices.
• Object-oriented design and coding skills; JavaScript, Java, and Python are preferred.
• Knowledge of JSON, API development, AWS compute, database and networking services, and RESTful API testing.
• Experience with automated test frameworks such as Spring, JUnit, TestNG, Mocha, or Jest, as well as GitHub and Jira.
• Must be authorized to work for any US employer now and in the future; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• CI/CD pipelines, Apigee or other API gateway solutions, Ansible, Terraform, and SonarQube.
• CloudWatch, Datadog, Tableau, Kibana, Grafana, Loki, JMeter, or Gatling.
• Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, or other CI build systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ask questions, and learn from failure.
