Co-op - Software Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Onsite in Wilmington, Massachusetts, USA. Up to 10% travel to client and customer locations may be required.

Salary: $32.00–$44.00 per hour, plus medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), PTO and other benefits.

What you will do

• Design, develop, review and test new software functionality as part of an engineering team.
• Collaborate with an agile/Scrum team to build features from business requirements.
• Help evolve the software architecture toward microservices using .NET Core, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ and Redis.
• Contribute to distributed, multi-threaded and multi-processor .NET architecture and develop high-quality code and packages.
• Create log-based visualizations and participate in customer calls, visits, workshops and integration testing.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills in C#, Python and C++.
• Experience with Linux commands, Git, software testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Ability to travel to customer locations by car or plane, with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to learn new technologies and share knowledge with others.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vitis and Vivado.
• Containerized development with Kubernetes or Docker.
• Cross-platform .NET Core development.
• MS SQL and SQL experience.
