Software Engineering Intern

Location: Hybrid, based at the downtown Seattle HQ with 3 days per week in-office; must reside in Seattle for the internship and be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: USD $100,000 annual base salary, prorated to $1,900 per week for the internship, plus applicable relocation, travel, and local transit support.

What you will do

• Collaborate on system design, code reviews, pair programming, and architecture decisions.
• Work with an engineering team on core product features rather than a siloed intern project.
• Develop and test features using C, Rust, and Python.
• Define and implement customer-facing features and internal improvements.
• Debug and fix test failures, product issues, and service issues.

Requirements

• Ability to write well-factored, well-tested code.
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Some experience with distributed systems, database concepts, concurrent programming, or operating systems.
• At least one class, internship, or personal project using C, C++, Rust, Java, or Go.
• Currently pursuing a BS or BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience, and available for a full-time internship during Winter, Spring, or Summer 2027.
• Must reside in Seattle during the internship and be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available.
