Senior Specialist, Inventory Analyst (SAP)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. Full-time role requiring work in office and manufacturing environments, with regular movement through the production area and physical duties.

Salary: $77,000–$102,500 per year, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Analyze inventory levels, usage trends, demand variability, service requirements, cost, and risk to recommend inventory actions.
• Manage MRB inventory, material tracking, disposition activities, and coordination with Quality on nonconforming materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through reconciliations, cycle counts, audits, variance analysis, and root-cause investigations.
• Improve storage locations, warehouse processes, material flow, Kanban replenishment, and inventory-related workflows.
• Manage retained sample inventory, including retention tracking, compliance monitoring, and disposition activities.
• Maintain SAP Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, and Material Master processes, and develop inventory reports, dashboards, and KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in inventory management, materials management, supply chain, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, material planning, and ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables, plus experience with Power BI and data visualization.
• Ability to analyze data, evaluate multiple factors, make recommendations independently, and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Ability to work in office and manufacturing environments, wear required PPE, and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience in injection molding or plastics manufacturing.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
