Robotics QA/QC Engineer

What you will do

• Execute manual and structured testing of robotic systems in laboratories and controlled environments.
• Monitor robot behavior during operation to verify safe and expected performance.
• Identify, document, reproduce, and log bugs, anomalies, edge cases, failures, and performance issues.
• Work with engineering teams to communicate issues, drive resolution, validate fixes, and perform regression testing.
• Improve QA processes, test procedures, operational checklists, and system validation workflows.
• Provide real-time feedback on robotic system performance during testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in QA, robotics testing, or hands-on technical roles; strong entry-level candidates with relevant experience or projects are also considered.
• Comfort working with physical systems such as robots, vehicles, or machinery.
• Strong attention to detail, observational skills, and the ability to clearly document and communicate findings.
• Basic troubleshooting skills, including isolating and describing technical issues.
• Willingness to work hands-on and remain physically engaged during testing in a reliable, methodical, and safety-conscious manner.

Nice to have

• Experience with robotics, autonomous systems, or electromechanical systems.
• Familiarity with logging tools or bug-tracking systems such as Jira.
• Basic Python or Bash scripting for test support or data collection.
• Understanding of cameras, LiDAR, GPS, and other sensor systems.
• Experience with structured test plans, QA processes, or validation workflows.
