Senior AI Engineer

Location: Hybrid role based in Titusville, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $109,000–$174,800 USD base pay per year

What you will do

• Deliver agentic AI projects using generative AI technologies.
• Build end-to-end GenAI solutions that create business value across pharmaceutical commercial functions.
• Extract insights from pharmaceutical data and implement model predictions in real-world deliverables.
• Identify data science use cases and lead the creation, testing, and support of predictive models.
• Develop reusable code through data cleaning, feature generation, modeling, and exploration.
• Partner with business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional technology teams to shape AI strategy and communicate actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in data science, computer science, statistics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, or a related field, plus 3+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks including LangChain, LangGraph, and LlamaIndex.
• Experience with LLMs and platforms including OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Hugging Face, Azure, and AWS Bedrock.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, source control, machine learning, predictive technologies, and advanced analytics methods.
• Experience in commercial pharmaceuticals and with healthcare datasets such as electronic medical records and medical or pharmacy claims data.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, vendor collaboration, and ability to work in matrixed, fast-paced environments.

Nice to have

• Experience evaluating, validating, refining, prompting, and fine-tuning LLM frameworks and generative AI applications.
• Experience delivering end-to-end agentic AI projects from requirements through deployment and post-launch operations.
• Experience with agentic AI scaling architecture and open-source or gated model landscapes.
• Experience managing vendors, timelines, and delivery expectations.
