Location: Logan, Utah, USA. The role requires work in office, lab, prototype, data center, and outdoor field environments around vehicles and equipment.

Salary: $128,000–$162,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and own embedded software for autonomous vehicles.
• Write production C++ for real-time and embedded systems.
• Integrate software with sensors, actuators, and vehicle hardware.
• Work across perception, guidance, navigation, and control domains as needed.
• Validate and debug software on real hardware in laboratory and field environments.
• Set technical direction, own features through deployment, and mentor engineers while collaborating with software, electrical, and mechanical teams.

Requirements

• Strong C++ software engineering experience with real-time or embedded systems.
• Deep experience developing embedded software close to hardware.
• Experience shipping production embedded software from design through field testing.
• Ability to debug software running with real hardware and sensors.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with perception, guidance, navigation, and control or similar adjacent software domains.
• Exposure to robotics, autonomy, or hardware-in-the-loop systems.
